Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Tencoms Tech s.r.o. collects through this website, why, how long we keep it, who receives it and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Czech law. We collect as little as we can.

Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Tencoms Tech s.r.o., IČO 21738491, Kurzova 2222/16, Stodůlky (Praha 13), 155 00 Praha, Czech Republic, a limited liability company registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague (Městský soud v Praze), file no. C 405852.
Contact for anything about your data: admin@tencoms.com, telephone +420 728 675 800, or by post at the address above. We have not appointed a data protection officer because the law does not require one for our activities.
What we collect, why and on what basis
Contact form. If you write to us through the form we receive the name, email address, company (optional), telephone number (optional, only if you want a call back) and message you enter, and the fact that you ticked the box agreeing to be contacted. We use them to reply to your enquiry and, if you decide to go ahead, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). Providing this data is voluntary, but we cannot answer you without it.
Instant estimate. If you use the website estimate tool we also receive the country, telephone number, website address and project answers you give (timeline, goals, budget range and similar), the options you choose, and the price shown to you. We use them to prepare your quote and reply to you, on the same legal basis as the contact form. We recompute the price on our server and store nothing in your browser; the details are only emailed to our team.
Direct email, telephone and post. If you contact us by email, phone or post instead, we process what you send us on the same bases and for the same purposes.
Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical information with each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the response and your browser type. We use it to deliver the site, keep it secure and investigate abuse (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f)). Logs are kept by the provider for a limited period.
If we work together, we process the data needed to perform and invoice the work, and to meet our legal obligations in accounting and tax (Article 6(1)(b) and (c)). That processing is covered by our agreement with you and our client privacy information, not by this website policy.
We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site, we do not send marketing emails to people who only used the contact form, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means or profile you.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, maps or videos, so your browser does not contact Google or any other third party to display it. We do show a cookie banner so you can see and control your choices. It stores one small item in your browser's local storage (the key "cookie-consent-v1") to remember what you chose, so we do not ask again. That item is strictly necessary for the banner to work, contains no personal data and is never sent to us.
The optional categories, analytics and marketing, are switched off by default and are not used today: nothing is loaded for them whatever you choose. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
If we ever add analytics or other tools that need cookies or similar storage, they will stay off until you consent (a clear choice, with refusing as easy as accepting), and we will update this page before they are switched on.
How long we keep your data
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept for up to 365 days after our last contact with you, so we can follow up and answer later questions, and are then deleted. If we start working together, the records we must keep for the contract, accounting and tax are kept for as long as the law requires, and records needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims are kept for the applicable limitation period. Server logs follow the retention period set by the hosting provider.
Who receives your data
Hosting and email. Hostinger runs the servers for this website, and Microsoft (Microsoft 365) hosts the company mailbox that receives form messages. Each acts as our processor under a data processing agreement and may only use your data on our instructions.
Advisers and authorities. Accountants, lawyers and IT support, only when needed and bound by confidentiality, and public authorities where the law requires us to disclose data.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
Transfers outside the EU
We aim to keep your data within the European Economic Area. Microsoft is a US-based company, so some processing may take place outside the EEA; where a provider processes data in a country outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on the Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any additional safeguards needed. You can ask us for details and a copy of the safeguards at the contact address above.
Security
We protect the site and the data we receive with encrypted connections (HTTPS), security headers, access limited to the people who need it, and regular software updates. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify the Czech data protection authority and, where required, you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you and receive a copy (Article 15); to have inaccurate data corrected (16); to have data erased (17); to restrict how we use it (18); to receive data you provided in a portable format where we process it on the basis of a contract (20); and to object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest (21). Where you gave your agreement, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing (7(3)).
To use any of these rights, write to admin@tencoms.com. We will answer within one month, which the law allows us to extend where a request is complex. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. Exercising your rights is free unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Complaints
If you think we process your data unlawfully, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7 (uoou.gov.cz), or with the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
Children
This website is aimed at businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top and, for material changes, say so on this page. The version published here is the one that applies.
